Artificial Intelligence for 2030 vision (Research Group)

عربي

Introduction:

This group aims to produce digitally applied research using Artificial Intelligence in line with the digital transformation 2030 initiative, KACST, and KAU strategic plans. The group main objective is to move from research innovation to industry and i-services supporting i-government and i-cities. Our research will follow KACST strategy related to i-energy, open source programming, providing technology consultation, preparing future technology pioneers and supporting entrepreneurship and business accelators.

The digital transformation involves several governmental sectors, for example, some of our innovative researchs cover the area of medical i-services, the creation of jobs, SMEs, anti-terrorism, HPC, and i-economy. Thus, the research projects support future insight of the digital industrial economic growth approved by the kingdom as well as intelligent cities worldwide. Both national and international transformations, toward the different intelligent systems and applications for i-government, will guide the research group to focus on applied i- economic, i-environments dealing with big data and IOT.

The strength of inter-disciplinary & multi-disciplinary activities of the group is articulated in the field of artificial intelligence, security, software engineering, process engineering, robotic …etc. The support structure will involve collaboration with mega industrial companies such as ARAMCO, SABIC, and international research communities IEEE, ISI, plus highly cited universities’ pioneers.
